The Graduate Program in Pharmacy of the Federal University of Bahia (PPGFAR-UFBA) aims totrain qualified professionals to carry out teaching activities on Pharmaceutical Sciences and researchfor the identification and planning of drugs from natural products,and the development of new methodologies in clinical laboratorywith the objective of diagnosis, monitoring, and epidemiological study of diseases.
The graduate student of the Graduate Program in Pharmacy from UFBA is expected to be inserted in local and national Graduate Units of Teaching of Pharmaceutical Sciences and in Technological Centers,contemplating the production of drugs and medicines, medical products and biomaterials,diagnostic kits,blood products, and vaccines.
